Navigate to POI on TomTom Go?

How do I navigate to a remote POI? If I enter the town, it then wants a street. If I start with a POI, it just give local POIs.

If the POI is on the same map then you should be able to find it by category, then by distance. But if it is a very common category like car dealers then the distance will be just 10 miles before the list stops.

So if you know the city, go into map view, locate the city, and then tap on the crosshair icon and tap "Find nearby POI" - that will make the POI serch relative to the crosshair, not to your location
