|
|
i been using Tom Tom 3 for a couple of months with no problems, last week I bought a Seidio power mount and fitted it. Now I can't get TT to find the gps receiver, other programs (Winfast Navigator and GPSDash) can and work fine.
If I put everything back on to the original y cable TT works fine.
Any clues on things to try |

In the TomTom GPS applet, make sure you select plain COM1: at NMEA 4800 . Maybe the "TomTom GPS" selection is too smart for the cradle. _________________ Lutz

thanks for the reply,
the setting is 'serial cable on Com1' no option for just com1 in TT3 all the other programs are finding the receiver on Com1 |

what GPS driver version are you using? Have you tried to replace it with version 2.07 (from our downloads section) ? _________________ Lutz
