I consider myself a "beginner" (albeit on a steep learning curve!) hence I'm posting this question here.

I have been successfully using a 2210 and BTGPS with memory-map software for about two months. I recently purchased and installed TTN3 together with the TomTom wired mouse and car kit for use in my car. After installing TTN3 I suffered the common problem where TTN3 blocks (takes over) the BT port which stopped me using my BTGPS until I removed the TTN GPS driver (thanks to this forum for this info).

I can now use both TTN3 or memory-map using my BTGPS but I can only use TTN3 with the wired mouse in the car, I've yet to successfully connect memory-map to the wired TTN mouse.

In TTN there is a menu of GPS's to select from, but in memory-map you have a very limited choice of Manufacturer, Model, Port and Baud - and I can't find the combination that will work with the wired TTN GPS.

Can anyone advise me what combination or action I need to take?

Thanks in anticipation.

You should be able to get it to run by selecting COM1 and NMEA 4800 . Unless by some freaky circumstance you have reprogrammed the serial receiver to talk SiRF protocol... then you would need a tool like Crux_View to get it back to NMEA...
