SatNav instructions from his passenger's phone led 21 year old Adam McDonald the wrong way down a South Shields one-way street and straight into the arms of the law... and it soon became apparent that this was not McDonald's only problem.
His car passed a police vehicle, which consequently did a u-turn and flagged McDonald to stop, but when the police officers spoke to him, they could smell alcohol on his breath so made him take a breath test.
