TomTom Splash Screens for NAV3 Devices

Installation Instructions

Connect your device to your computer and click the "MyTomTom" applet which is located either in the system tray (Windows) or the Menu Bar (Mac OS X).

Note the menu item "Add community content" in MyTomTom. If you do not see this menu entry with a device connected (it is not visible when no device is plugged in), then you do not have the latest software installed on your device or the latest version of MyTomTom. You can download the latest MyTomTom release here.

Click "Add community content" and you will see the following web-page appear:

Scroll down to 'Community images on device' (highlighted above) and click on 'Add image'. Locate the file you saved and select it to upload.

Once the image is transferred to your device you can disconnect form MyTomTom. Then, go to your devices Settings page and select either 'Change start-up image' or 'Change shut-down image'. Then you can select the image that you trasferred as per the images below.

You can then restart your device to see the new screens.

< back to main menu

Pleased as I am that you're using the one I've made for the wife's XL IQ Routes as the center piece for the gallery, I'd like to point out that it is a first gen Toyota Matrix, not a SEAT Altea :P

Well spotted that man! It does seem to have vanished.

It was never as popular as we'd hoped, not many people sent in their creations, but there should be SOME!

Does any one have any Nav3 Peugeot splash screens please ?
It is for a Pug 807.

Thanks,

Paul

They are really not hard to make yourself if you have any sort of basic "Paint" program on your PC. It needs to end up as a 455x272 bitmap picture called "splashw.bmp.

Here's something I knocked up in about 5 minutes, from a Google pic of a Pug 807, to give you some idea Smile

(This is just a .jpg preview as this forum can't cope with .bmp bitmap images. The original .bmp bitmap image is here - just rename it to "splashw.bmp" or "suspendw.bmp" for a shutdown screen)

Alternatively, if you're out of your depth, then if you give us some idea of what sort of thing you want (e.g Whole car in a certain colour? Front badge? Close ups?, Words? Logos? etc.) T.hen I'm sure someone will offer to make one for you.
