The PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera Database has been updated and contains lots of new cameras. The ZIP file contains subfolders to separate the different types of files, eg ov2 bmp, csv, xls and wav. A single file version, ie one that includes all camera types, is also included.
We also have versions for a range of Garmin and Magellan SatNav systems
New this month: This release has been prepared from the new speed camera database system and all of the camera IDs are now unique across all camera types. As a consequence all of the camera identification numbers have changed.
The Garmin release now has single file versions for the Gatso and Mobile cameras instead of the individual files for each speed. The header record in the csv files has been removed so that the files are compatible with the latest release of the Garmin POI Loader program.
Included in the speed zoned folder are text files (*.asc) suitable for use with Navman systems.
Finally, there are 307 submissions requesting changes, ie additions and deletions, that are still waiting to be confirmed.
