GlobalSat UK will be launching the SD-502 in the UK tomorrow exclusively at the PocketGPSWorld.com GPS Event at Basingstoke. And they will have plenty there for people to buy.
The First one will go to Tom Thompson who won it in the Prize Draw at the Wales GPS Meeting.
I have been testing a GlobalSat SD-502 for some time now and find that it is far more sensitive than the original SD-501. I regularly have 9 or 10 sats fixed with the PDA in the centre of my office 3 metres from a window. The only drawback with the GPS is the limited compatibility with PDAs. Please ensure that your configuration will work prior to purchase.
