TomTom have just released the latest GO update, v5.420. This update returns the number of available POI categories to the original 40 which will is welcome news for us all! Some may recall that an earlier update reduced this limit to a much less friendly 28 which caused no end of frustration.
Other improvements/fixes in v5.420 are:
Traffic trial easier to set-up.
TomTom Traffic is automatically enabled after set-up.
CDMA is now also supported for connecting to TomTom PLUS (for US Networks).
Streets with the same name in towns that are close together are not confused in this version.
The quality of the sound has been optimised when using hands-free calling (GO 500 and 700).
Version 5.420 is compatible with more mobile phones.
All entries in the phonebook on your mobile phone are now transferred to the device, no matter where they are stored.
