TomTom develops a formula for ''The Ultimate Summer Drive''.

In a press release from TomTom this week they claim to have cracked the formula to determine the perfect drive. Of course the result is the blindingly obvious: an untravelled 2 lane backroad with no traffic, lots of stopping places, beautiful scenery, gentle bends and great weather.
That, I suppose, is quite easy for me to say, but much more difficult to work out given a map and a sketchy knowledge of local roads. TomTom have done some analysis of their own data and come up with some research that identifies the Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway as being the Ultimate Summer Drive.
