Danish phone mount manufacturer Fix2Car have launched their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus car holders.
New to the range is a holder that can support a phone with or without a case, something I suspect most 6 and 6 Plus owners will have! A traditional style holder is also available for phones without cases.
The new design has a hinged section that contains the Lightning connector. You install your phone by first docking it with the connector and then tilting it back until the two plastic side arms engage.
I have a 6 Plus here and this is the first iPhone I've ever had a case for so I was delighted to see a holder that would accommodate it. In use it works very well. Inserting it into the dock is simple, perhaps not quite as easy as sliding it
into a traditional holder,and the side arms grip the phone firmly enough to hold it in place.
You will need a bracket to attach the holder too, I'm using Brodit's ProClip and the holder fits perfectly.
A swivel mount on the rear allows you to rotate your phone into Landscape or Portrait modes as required and the mount comes complete with an MFI Apple Approved Griffin Lightning cable.
