Globalsat and Easy Devices announce the BT318 a bluetooth GPS receiver combined with a bluetooth GPRS cradle.
For those of you who have seen the Globalsat BT308 the BT318 does not look too much different, it has sleeker styling, but the main improvements are a removeable battery with a claimed life of 15+ hours, and a cradle which is a bluetooth GPRS modem.
Globalsat sent me a sample shortly after CeBIT, but the GPRS was just a dummy. The GPS is great, a full review will ba coming soon. This is the ideal device for those of you contemplating TomTom traffic, Co-Pilot or any of the other apps that are coming out that are internet aware.
