Few of you won't be aware that Chris Huhne has changed his plea to guilty. He now admits he was behind the wheel of his car when it was snapped by a speed camera on the M11 in North East London in 2003.

Huhne, who had a history of speeding convictions, was in danger of losing his licence as he had already accrued 9 points and so he persuaded his wife to say that she was driving.

He now faces a conviction for perverting the course of justice and almost certainly a prison sentence. Granting him unconditional bail until the sentencing hearing, Mr Justice Sweeney said: "you should have no illusions whatsoever as to the sort of sentence that you are likely to receive."

For PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera subscribers, the camera in question was the notorious Gatso 4785@50. And, had Chris Huhne been using our database back in March 2003 he would have been warned as it was first added to our database shortly after we launched the service in 2002.
