Medion announce new waterproof GoPal models

 Medion have announced two new GoPal S-series PNDs. Both the S3647 and S3747 are hybrid devices providing in-car street routing and outdoor use for hiking and bike trails.
At launch, the S3647 is available with maps of Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the S3747 contains full Western Europe coverage.
Equipped with rechargeable batteries and a shockproof case, both models share a 3.5" touchscreen and most importantly for outdoor use, IPX7 certification which requires they are able to survive immersion in water for 30minutes. That should come in handy give the amount of rain we've seen this summer alone!
Support for a bluetooth headset and a motorbike specific mode will make the S3747 attractive to motorcyclists and 'tunnel assistant' means you continue to receive guidance even where GPS reception has been lost.
