Branson Says He'll Buy The Complete GPS Satellite System

**APRIL FOOL** This is of course an April Fool Joke.
Sir Richard Branson stunned an invited audience of the tech world's glitterati today at the CTIA Show in Las Vegas during his pre-show speech.
He announced that he is heading a private interest consortium that consists of himself, Bill Gates and the World's richest man, Warren Buffet, and is in "advanced talks" with the US Government to buy the complete US GPS Satellite System.
He stated that he has also put in a bid for the emerging European, Chinese and Russian systems. He said "these systems, owned by differing governments, are a problem waiting to happen". He continued "wars we will centred around the information carried by these satellites, so industry cannot trust the governments with such valuable assets".
When pressed for further comment, Sir Richard replied with "watch this space".
