News: British family killed in Florida after satnav U-Turn
US Police investigators now suspect the British family, killed in a horrific crash in Florida on Monday, may had made an illegal U-Turn on the Highway after following guidance from a satnav.
The Bristol family, Adam Stephenson, Brian Stephenson, Maryanne Stephenson and Sheralyn Stephenson were all killed in the crash as they returned from the Kennedy Space Centre when their rental Mitsubishi car turned into the path of a Ford pickup truck.
The driver of the Ford suffered "non life-threatening injuries", Police said.
An Foreign Office spokesman said "We are supporting the family of four British people who have died in Florida. Our thoughts are with them at this deeply difficult time."
