A court has heard that a man who leaned over to pick up his fallen sat nav smashed into another car.

The device became unattached from his windscreen and fell into the passenger foot-well where his girlfriend was sitting.

21 year old Conor Sansom from Clacton was driving on the A133 in Essex when the incident occurred, resulting in the tragic death of Paul Stevens, 49, the driver of the other car.
