News: Parrot RNB6 in-dash head unit with Android and Apple support
Parrot have been showing off their latest in-car infotainment system at CES, the RNB6, and its features are proving to be quite a hit.
Powered by Android 5.0, the RNB6's headline feature is support for both Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay interface specifications allowing you to connect your smartphone and have the features mirrored (in a driver friendly format) on the head-unit's display.
It's a 2-DIN sized device, a standard size for these systems and features a 7-inch touchscreen display. It also integrates with a windscreen mounted camera for black box type video recording.
And finally, the RNB6 has full support for navigation apps, hands-free telephone, voice-control and, of course, radio and music. It can also integrate with the vehicle and display data such as on-board diagnostics etc.
