Get a sound amplifier for £3.99!

Whilst refuelling at my local Esso station this morning I noticed they were selling a cellphone 'hands free' speaker for £3.99. Naturally I wondered if it would be of any use to PocketPC owners looking for a simple solution to amplify the volume so I bought one!

I'm glad to say it works superbly, the unit is a small speaker amplifier built into a cigarette lighter plug with a cable that connects to a clothes peg type clamp which you locate over the PPC speaker. The unit has a hinge at the cigarette lighter to allow it to fit recessed sockets, a power LED and a volume control. With the volume ramped up it would be loud enough for commercial vehicles and it fitted the 'D' pad speaker on my 3630 easily although it would be even better on the later models with the speaker at the top. For anyone looking for a cheap solution this is perfect!
