	News: Bought a GO 940 at Halfords? Grab a free remote! If you purchased a GO 940 at Halfords recently and didn't get a Bluetooth Remote control then it looks like you may have had a stroke of luck. Readers have reported that Halfords in store advertising for the 940 clearly states it comes with a Bluetooth Remote despite this not being part of the standard accessory list; the accessory remote would normally cost an additional £30. A number of forum members have had success when contacting TomTom to point out this omission. Proof of purchase will of course be required but if you bought a 940 and didn't get the remote the make your claim now! It isn't yet clear if this is a promotion specific to Halfords wheer the remotes have been omitted in error or another mistake but either way, the in-store advertising is unequivocal on the subject and so you are entitled to receive all that is promised.
