Hi All.

I am hoping someone can point me in the correct direction in order to identify which is the underlying sat-nav system in this new vehicle. It is based heavily on the Mazda MX-30 so it is likely to be the same.

The system uses an SD card which has written on it "Maps by HERE"

The top level directories contained within look like this:

MAP
squashfs
telenav_resources

Under the MAP there are:
m7g.lcf
m7g.vlf
map (directory) which contains:
baseversion/properties
pbf.txt
tiles (directory) which contains many other directories starting 00000 and ending 00255 plus some other files. The numbered directories contain various bin files plus a config.json

squashfs contains some list files and some index*.sfs files

telenav_resources contains the following directories:
map_streaming
mapdisplay
SDKLog
tasks
vr
weather

Any ideas gratefully received.

Regards,
Steve

I would take a guess at Telenav. They seem to be focusing on in-dash navigation these days.

I went digging around in the Mazda Update Toolbox app, which doesn't work in terms of recognising the genuine Mazda SD card and found a list to here:

Does that shed any light on the system.

I'd like to be able to add the PGPSW camera database as custom POI.

Given that it's based on IGO you should be able to compare your file layout with a standalone IGO layout and put the PGPSW database (IGO version) in the same place and see what happens.

What may happen is that your built in system won't process speed cameras and provide approach warnings.

Built in POI'S are often just points you navigate to.
