My unit is running on Android 6.0.1. I usually can not get any map to display on my phone, unless I am stationery. Then it sometimes shows the selected map.

What I get is_ Normal - Grey Screen (When stationery I can get light blue/grey background with off white roads, but no houses. Once in motion it reverts to blank screen)

Hybrid - Black Screen (When stationery this produces the google satellite map)

Terrain - A very light blue/green screen (Same as "Normal")

Open Street Map - Black (When stationery this produces a reasonable map with house locations)

Once I start to move all maps are not updated. No problem with voice alerts and the app is set to always show maps.

I have no problem with Google maps or the Waze map.

Do you have mobile data issues? It sounds like it's not able to pull the data for the maps once you're moving.

That's what I suspected, but the OP says he has no problems with Google maps, and they pull data via mobile data (don't they?).

Google Maps can download areas of the map and store it for use when offline.

Yes I know, but has the OP done that to get his Google maps which work OK?
