I have just installed the speed camera database in my new Kenwood DNX525DAB unit following the instructions in the Kenwood manual using the Garmin POI installer

Should it now have any menu on the Navigation Menu or it that it, will it just bong! when I approach a speed camera

All the manual says is Connect the USB to the USB input and follow the on-screen instructions to upload the safety database, when complete you can remove the USB device

Sorry, I don't know anything about the Kenwood DNX525DAB unit. The best way to check is to test against known locations of camera sites.

As you've just installed the PGPSW speed camera database you have access to not only download new updates (normally once a week) you can also use the camera submission page and zoom in until you can see the camera locations. Have a look for cameras near you and drive around to test.

Finally if you have either an Android or iPhone you can download the free CamerAlert app and use your subscription to download the latest database, which is updated several times a week on the app
