I run either CoPilot or Sygic with CamerAlert, but could do with some practical set up advice.
For example, my mobile camera warnings are set to flash up from about a mile away, and static about quarter of a mile.
In all cases, the red warning bar comes up for a few moments before disappearing......the problem being, how do I then guess when the mile is up without any other warning ?
In the old days I used to download the database into my old Tom Tom system so you could see the camera on the map, but being a complete non techy I guess this is no longer possible.
Perhaps I've missed a trick somewhere but would appreciate some input. Thanks.

Are you using it in Map Mode, or List Mode.

See the FAQs and Section 5.

In Map Mode, if you are concerned about Data usage, just disable Data and the Icons will 'drift' towards you without a Map displaying.

The Map options are in the Settings Menu.

But not if he has Sygic or CoPilot running on top.
Why not load them into Sygic, then you will see them on the map?
