My 2599LMT-D very occasionally switches itself off and reboots to the 'home' screen.

However, if I'm navigating to a partciular postcode it almost always switches off in the near vicinity.

Specifically, Gt Sanket Leisure Centre, Barrow Hall Ln, Great Sankey, Warrington, Cheshire WA5 3AA. I get to the turn off on Lingley Green Ave and it goes into a black hole.

I'm stumped.

Appears to be a map error there as I can't get a route to route down Barrowhall Lane. I can though if I switch to a different map.

I suggest you report it as a map error, I've done so.

Map error correction appears to have fixed it.
Thanks!

As an aside I had a sort of similar problem with a Navigon program. It would lock up on Mountbatten Way in Southampton and require a hard reset. It also locked up when approaching from a different direction.

It was not a question of switching off but freezing. I suspected electronic interference from ship radars but never resolved it before I accidentally bricked it.
