Have a look/compare all the Garmin models to fine tune it for your use.
The most important bit is to get one with the -D tag which is the digital traffic. Far better than the RDS traffic.
I opted for the 2599LMT-D with lifetime maps, digital traffic and voice control. _________________ Satnav:

Out of interest why do you prefer Garmin rather than Tomtom.
Apart from what Tomtom have done over 3rd party POI's |

You've got it in one. The cameras here are far more up to date and more customisable than the OEM packages.
It wasn't that long ago that a poster here identified TT's cameras being October 14.
If TT allowed third party bulk camera POi's and the correct functionality like they used to then I'd look at them again. _________________ Satnav:

Thanks I will take your advice and go for it.
I dont think I can trust my Galaxy S5 not to blow up with 2000 miles to drive.
The Tomtom app stutters with every direction it makes. Not impressed with that - but App was good with good access to your contacts.
Have you got any guides on how to install the PGWS Database. |

1 Yes
2. No (Even if you get a device with traffic. You have to use Garmins cable). |

2) Or use Smartlink, which isn't as good as it used to be, see other posts. _________________ Satnav:
