Does anyone have a 6000 just bought it assuming that I can load this wonderful database to old way via chrome but alas i fear not.

Is there a way of doing it ?

I am going to europe in a couple of weeks and would really like the PGSW database working.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks in advace

If you dig around here you will find that TT have stopped this type of POI.

FYI Garmin's work fine.

Shame people go out and buy the latest TTs and THEN ask about the PGPSW database. Confused

I am going to take it back to Argos as I really don't like it.

What Garmin producats would you recommend that does take the PGSW database.

Thanks

In Advance

Thank you. How easy will it be for a lifetime tomtom Man to convert, are there any guides to upload to Speed camera database and add your own POI's.

I have been reading that some people struggle ? Don't wont to rush into another mistake.

I am off driving round Spain in 24 days. I need to get it right.

Should I just use google maps on my phone ? then just pay Vodaphone £3 a day for use. when I need it.

confused, I don't like change.

also do you know if the Nuvi 2569LM has the same connections/ dimensions as the Garmin Nuvi 2567LM as Dsldevelopments don't sell a holder for the Nuvi 2569LM.

Is the connector for the Garmin a standard Mini USB ? As I have a hard wired lead in the car.

Thanks

A standard mini USB seems to charge mine OK, but of course it is not compatible with the traffic system that the LMT-D has.
The 2569 is 138x83x18, and has a dedicated clippy thing to mount it on the suction mount for easy removal. Why don't you pop into Halfords or similar and have a look and feel of one?
And yes, the Garmins do take the PGPSW database, and it works pretty much as expected. There is an issue of multiple alerts when on motorways where there are cams on gantries both sides, but this can in the main be overcome by using Kremmen's clever duplicate removal tool.

I am sure the traffic system wont work when in Spain. In the UK google maps works fine for me, as I have a 7GB Data allowance just worried about how Google maps will work in Spain.

Looks like there is a RDS traffic service in Spain on the RTE3 channel whatever that is.

I think I am just going to use to Tomtom GO app on my mobile pay my £14.99 for now and see if tomtom sortout the POI farse in the future, I don't like the idea of having to use the original charger on the Garmin in order to use the traffic updates,

But I don't think that the one that you mention, the Nuvi 2569LM, has got traffic. It's the LMT that does.
