just bought a tomtom start 50

Hi everybody how do you download new points of inerest ?
In my previous tomtom it had tomtom home with hundreds of points of interest and voices .
You dont get this with new tomtoms.

Correct, you don't.

POI's on recent TomToms are severly crippled and don't even think about trying to install any third party cameras.

tried downloading some poi's but getting nowhere do you have to buy winrar to add them to a tomtom ???????????

I haven't got a TT but from what I've read here they get downloaded into the unit via the TT PC application.

You can only upload the ov2 file and it has to be done with the TT cloud application, found here: https://mydrive.tomtom.com/en_gb/
