Hi All,

I have a kenwood entertainment system in my Mitsubishi Outlander, and have recently uploaded the speed camera database to the Garmin Sat Nav, via POI Loader.

All works well - however I now get alerts every 10 secs for something.

I downloaded:
pgpsw-speed-cams-L8iP6-(13-061)

Installed this via POI Loader and now get too may alerts - How can I set this up so I only get alerts for GATSO cameras?

Via POI Loader, and installing manual I have options for GATSO, Mobile and specs?

I can chose to 'ignore' files, but I do not know what the 'specs' file is?

Thanks in advance

Specs are the average speed zones, typically on motorways when there are roadworks.

I have an aftermarket Kenwood. "Bongs" are driving me mad. No one is quite sure, but it seems that the Kenwood has a built-in speed warning system that "bongs" when you go over the speed limit or when you approach a change in speed limit. These "bongs" aren't turned on normally, and I can't see a way to turn them on or off on my unit. But when you add the PGPSW cameras with their "bongs" the Kenwood ones turn themselves on.

It's really annoying!

Also I have found that adding the voice warning .ogg files from PGPSW causes other problems on my Kenwood. They are too long for it. The Kenwood mutes the audio when a "bong" or voice command sounds. Unfortunately the voice warning is still going when the Kenwood wants to turn the audio volume back to normal. So it doesn't, and the audio stays mute until you turn the head unit off and on again.
