Yes the downs link.

The campsite is at the end of spring lane. we have been there a few times, its saved on our GPS. The reason I got the edge 800 was because of our recent visit. We kept on getting lost and ending up on main roads....when you see the statistics of accidents on country roads you will see why.

so will I have to buy the garmin discover OSM maps to see bike routes here...

I don't think you'll find any map, either OS or OSM, that will have every bike route on it.

The advantage of the free OSM products are that we can all contribute to keep them updated, OS mapping is what it is.

http://www.openstreetmap.org

Search for Slinfold - select the layers symbol on RHS then Cycle Map and NCR222 is shown in red

At the right zoom level you will see the Caravan Club Campsite at the end of Spring Lane

All the maps that you find for free use that map as the base for their maps, so it will appear at some point in the maps that I've already pointed you at. When that will happen will depend on how often the folks that compile those maps update them from the OSM site.

Incidentally all my OSM maps show the Downs Link, just the campsite that's missing.

unit arrived today..its like new (refurbished) its tiny....should have gone to see one first..I will struggle with my eyesight. it came with a 4gb card loaded with UK maps..and pretty poor to look at, but at least the few test routes I planned took me on ones suitable for cycling. I loaded the NL maps and they route the same way as my car garmin..not good. very confused.

another more important thing. unlike their bigger vehicle siblings, you cant test a destination. EG: I cant put it in say amsterdam and search POI in that town..or can I?

a bit underwhelmed to be honest.....

Which map came on the 4Gb card?

Not sure about searching etc as I don't have an Edge, it may simply be a matter of getting used to it and/or reading the manual.

Seems that's the normal Garmin Basemap, which won't be that detailed. However that would generally be on the device itself, not the card. There's some info about maps on an Edge here:

http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2013/05/download-garmin-705800810.html

and a good in depth review by someone who knows what he's talking about when it comes to cycling GPS here:
