Hi All, it's been a long while since these dinosaurs have been discussed but a friend of mine recently presented me with a "dead" TT One XL, 1Gb.
I told him "No worries, it's only a mini-computer, it does what we tell it to do and we'll tell it to come back to the living".
Bold Words you may say. Well, as I type, it's drawing breath.
It's on a very old NavCore and I would like to bring it forward in time- the 19th C shall do, just up to the point when things started going t.u.
I don't use TT Home or any other TT software.
I have found a direct link to NavCore 8.351 (they were the days weren't they?). However, does anybody know how to access the latest PostCode.zip file with a direct link without going through TT's software?
Many thanks.

Here is a link to 925 http://www.tomtom.com/updates/zipcodes/Map_925/zip.zip Substituting the number for previous versions works but 930 does not. _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU

The original One XL, like mine, had no internal memory and ran off an sd card. I think mine came with a 250Mb card, the maximum it could handle was 2GB, so the one under discussion must be version 2 or 3? I think 8.010 is still the relevant saftware for those versions? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

Hi entwood and Guivre46. Yes, you are correct, 8.010 is the latest version . Now loaded and much better.
Many thanks, Ali. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
