Osomount have launched another new smartphone cradle, called the Quick Grip.

Using their combination suction/gel mount that can attach to glass, textured dashboards and other surfaces with ease, the Quick Grip features adjustable jaws that can even accommodate larger phablet style devices such as the Galaxy Note 2.

The cradle rotates to allow use in portrait and landscape orientations. The cradle can also slide up and down the mount.

Available in black or white at 21.99.

I have to say their dash mounting system (sticky sucky thing) is brilliant. I currently have their 360 Grip model fixed to my orange-peely, slightly curved dashboard surface and it doesn't look like it will ever budge in a month (no a year!) of Sundays.

Over the years, with handsfree being so important to me, I've tried all manner of solutions - many different makes and sizes of sticky pads, none of which stay stuck to the textured dashboard, and the bean bag things which are too big to sit anywhere, they balance rockily and are useless for tapping the phone screen.

So I was sceptic when I got my first OSOMount, but was completely won over by it. Then I broke it. Embarassed They had stopped producing that model and their sales person phoned me and we had several discussions before I hesitatingly got the 360 Grip model. It has proved itself perfectly. It actually feels so well attached I'd be tempted to use it as a hand grip!

So I would expect this latest addition to their range to be just as good. No, I don't work for them, but I'll happily accept another free one! Very Happy

Another vote of confidence ......... I attach an iPod Touch to the tank of my motorcycle with an Oso mount and have never doubted that it will still be there at the end of the ride

(I do however have a tether!)

Best fix your tether to the bike with an Oso mount though! Laughing Laughing
