Hi all,

Since Microsoft and Tomtom are not bed buddies anymore, what about the newer Tomtoms?

Which ones worked with Tomtom, and when please was the turning point, where Linux entered the park.

I believe the 1005 etc, is not Microsoft friendly, but what about the 825, or further back like the 730? or the 530 etc?

Where was the change over period?

Which were the last Tomtom's to run happy with Microsoft?

I know there are some questions, but it will help me and others know more about the troubles.

All TomTom's will work with Microsoft. The 'problem' was that MS wanted license fees so TT changed their software.

The SatNavs themselves still connect to Microsoft Windows PCs (as well as Macs)
