It's odd but the pre warning dingdong is fine but the warning sound female voice has disappeared again. I've not managed to work out why it's there for a while and then disappears or what causes it. I've tried the Music controls but the first two seem to make no difference. Didn't bother trying the third option which looks like it might be bluetooth as I don't want it to come out of the car kit.
By the way your manual needs updating couldn't find anything about the music control.

It happens to me on my 5 after I've received a phone call on bluetooth. Restarting CA gets it going again (until the next phone call!).

@fredbloggs123 - does your scenario sound similar to what DennisN described?

Hi All,

isn't it a bit dangerous to have to keep quitting and restarting the app after phone calls?

Can this issue be fixed, as I am also having this issue, and it appears others are too?

yes, we are hoping that newer versions of Apple's Maps API are less memory hungry, and we are also looking into offering alternative mapping through Google Maps API.

In the meantime the only reliable solution is to use the list view, or to run the application in the background.

Interestingly I am using the "List" view which only brings up the map at the last minute. To be honest I would prefer it in the background as I want to rely on the audio alerts only rather than have to look at any screen.

If I run it in the background and not have the app on screen will the audio alerts come back after a phone call then??

Thanks for the reply,

SDM197.
