When I selected [request removal] the computer's focus was taken to the detail section (as one would expect. However, the Action Box still showed 'Add a POI', or whatever it normally shows, and the ID box was empty.

Having said all that:
In the light of jolly47roger's post I withdraw my attempted request.

Hi, Sorry for the delay; had to go out for a while - as you do. Internet Explorer 10.

It may be a browser-specific bug. I'll have a test later.

Hi jolly47roger, Could you please clarify something for me? Is St Mellons SS (Texaco) open as a garage, or does it still also sell fuel? Thank you.

The St Mellons Service Station at 51.53027 -3.10179 ST 23670 81843 is still actively trading and selling fuel. The coordinates you gave are for a site in the centre of the village that repairs cars but I have no recollection of it ever selling fuel.

Thank you for the clarification. I did not give any coordinates, which may be a source of confusion. I used the details for the icon shown on the map as being almost opposite the Coach House pub.

I gave the co-ordinates, for the only Texaco station in that area that we have an entry for in the database.

We don't have an entry at the location you gave, 51.53027 -3.10179, so we can assume that this is a misplaced (Postcode generated), location.

It's now been corrected.
