new nuvi 2515 which i want to leave permanently in the car and wanted auto off/on with car power.
was expecting a countdown clock |

Two small questions.
1. Why would you not want it to shutdown when you turn the ignition off?
2. Why would you want to attract theives by leaving it in the car at all times? |

1. I do want it to switch off but sooner than a minute but have the option
2. It's in a cubby
From the speed it comes ack on with the ignition I would say it doesn't actually switch off anyway |

Must be model dependent, My 2200 has 15 seconds and my 50 has 30 seconds.
I don't worry about killing it off sooner via the option as even 30 seconds isn't going to matter much.

it has started to work with a 15 second countdown so am happy
still shows 1 minute in the settings though |
