30mph zone, camera says 50mph, back-up photos say 18mph!! Still costs driver £1600.

How is such an error possible?

Yet he's still 25% of £1600 out of pocket, so £400.

Could he have insisted it went to trial? If the prosecution withdrew, I guess not.
