IMHO it should not have been anywhere a majorly built up area and then everybody could carry on with their daily lives.

Yeah. I have heard of it too. BMW AG may have goosed its July sales numbers, according to the Wall-Street Journal. The luxury car maker reported selling more than 21,000 units in the U.S. recently.
The news also says that one contributing factor to BMW’s sales surge could be its dealer incentives. Late-summer incentives are common in the industry, when dealers want to clear out old inventory for the next year’s models.
