Advice on 'upgrade'

I have a Nuvi 265W which I am broadly quite happy with. It doesn't have enough memory to store all of Europe (for that 1 time in every 5 years I go to Western Europe) and the map update process is tedious.

I have an opportunity to get a new Nuvi 2495LMT but I can't find out much technical info about it, does it have more memory? Do the maps update in the same way? Is guidance 2 much better?

Any other thoughts or advice?

If you're broadly happy with your 265 you could always add a card to expand the memory?

I have an additional card in the 265 but when try to install the maps it still says I don't have enough memory, I know that I can use (is it) MapInstall to add supplementary maps but I would just like the base unit to have enough to cover the EU and keep POI's on the external card

You might want to update Mapinstall to the latest version (4.0.1) as this recognises cards and provides better options as to where maps should go
