Hi,
I've just acquired a Samsung Galaxy Note and installed Sygic on it. I wanted to install the camera database as a custom POI only the files are in .csv format and the poi converter on the Sygic website does not work on my Mac because it is an.exe file.
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks

You'd need one of 3 things:

1) access to a windows machine
2) access to something like Paralells to run a virtual machine (VM) of Windows within the Mac OS
3) you could try something like WINE or CrossOver to try run the .exe withing Mac OSX.

I'm happy to say that my son managed on virtual Windows to do the conversion of the .csv files to .rupi. At the same time he also converted a batch of POIs that I had created myself on my TomTom (churches, castles, scenery that I want to visit) from the .ov2 format to .rupi. I imported these (along with the matching .bmp files I use on the TT) into the same folder as the CamerAlert files but for some reason they fail to show up at all. I fondly imagined that the .ov2 files would contain the right information and appear but it seems life isn't as easy as that.
Anybody got any ideas?
