Bigger screens work so much better in MPVs where the device is some way from the driver. Even in my run around car where the TT is much closer I'd happily purchase a larger screen. Would really like to see an improved resolution which it sounds like there is. |
Me to, so treated myself to the TT Start 60 today for about £150 in Comet with the online reservation discount code (10GPS)
WOW the screen makes a huge difference - makes my TT Go Live 1000 look old, my 5" Garmin ancient
It really is a fantastic unit - excepting no Live services
Thought I would struggle with it being a Start edition when I'm used to the latest Go Live series, but with the exception of HD Traffic (which for most of my journeys - living in Wales - I can live without!) - it seems to have pretty much everyone that my Go Live has, but for a lower price and with this impressive screen - pin sharp and great in bright sunlight (between the cloud bursts) and sunglasses on today
If you can live without HD Traffic, its a bargain - otherwise a HD model is bound to be on the horizon for the UK? |
Sounds great. I need HD Traffic so will wait for the Live version. |

I bought one a couple of days ago and I must admit the display is great.
A question though...
How can you do a backup of the complete contents?
As it appears as a 'Network' now and not a hard drive I just can't figure out how to do it or even if it is possible. |

It is not possible to do a full backup of Nav3 devices as it was for earlier models.
You can back up favourites, pois, non-computer voices. _________________ David |

Thanks for the quick reply David.
Saves me wasting any more time trying to work it out.
Have a nice day. |
