Guys
I may well use some wrong terminology here, but please bear with me.
I have used the WalkHighlands site to create hundreds of POIs by clicking on a point on the map and saving as a GPX file.
These I have put on my SatMap via SatSynch.
However it seems they are seen as Routes with just one Waypoint, not as the POI that I wanted.
Is there a simple conversion?
Thanks

Firstly, thanks to Gibbo10 who PMed me and tried to sort this looking at my files.
However, in the end I found my solution in the "Creating a KML with multiple POI from Excel????" thread.
So, thanks to all for the help from this excellent resource.

Yes, I noticed the option on the WalkHighlands site to create a KML file - but there's no explanation as to what that is.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

Hi
A .kml file is the file used in GoogleEarth.
If you save to this format, clicking on it on your computer will open GoogleEarth (if you have it installed) and will allow you to "fly" over your route.
Quite entertaining.
