Voices?

I have TT installed on my 3GS but would like to add
the voices I have on my TT One Xl. Particularity John Cleees(!)
Any way to do this

Were the celeb voices purchased from TomTom or somewhere else?

The TomTom celeb voices are locked to the device they were first loaded to and cannot be added to the iPhone app.

If you got the voices from somewhere else then it is possible to add the voices to the iPhone app although its a bit of a hack it doesn't involve jail breaking the iPhone - Mike

Mike, this one was on my One XL but having used the app, if I get this one working, will I still get the street names etc as I have now with advanced voices supplied?

You won't get street names read out to you if you install a celeb voice and select it, the iPhone app isn't capable of doing that, but where did the voice come from TomTom or elsewhere as this makes a big difference as to whether it can be made to work with the iPhone app - Mike

Then rename the dataXX.chk file associated with the JC voice to data10.chk then use DiskAid or what ever you use to copy files to your JB iPhone's TomTom app/ voices folder.
Once the file is installed fire up the app and select the Spanish female Marta voice and you will hear JC - Mike
