Nissan connect

I have changed my car, I now have a Nissan Note with the connect satnav system
does anyone know which speed camera file ( if any ) is compatable with this system? The system booklet states the file must be .csv format.

We've been trying to assist another member via email on this and so far have not succeeded. Even Nissan don't appear to have any details of the exact .csv format it needs and none of the ones we have tried have worked.

I have loaded the garmin csv files into my nissan sat nav via the usb port. The satnav recognised them 1st time.

Your own POI's need to be loaded onto a USB stick in a folder called "myPOIs". They need to be in CSV format. Long; Lat and then Identifier.

If you have POIs which you would like to have a warning displayed/sounded (i.e. cameras etc), then those POI files need to be dropped onto the USB stick into a folder called "myPOIWarnings". Same CSV format as above.

As soon as you plug the stick into the cars USB port, a window pops up on the screen saying "new POIS available". Select the "download" option on the touchscreen and about a second later the job is done! :-)

In the navigation setup pages, you may wish to modify your POI warning distance. It is set at 250 yards by default.

Excellent news, thanks for taking the time to post the install details. I'm compiling a guide and will update our compatibility table but can you confirm which database format you used and which type i.e. will it only function with single-file or does it work with the others?

Hello all, I have the Nissan Qashqai +2, with Nissan Connect (had the car a week). New member here, subscribed to the speed cams.

The SD Card info is:

25920 BH00A, 2008 Navteq/Robert Bosch GmbH

I have tried the advice given in this post, yet nothing is recognized, eg. once I plug the USB stick in , the display says - AUX inserted, but thats it. No "loading" screen appears.

Any more thoughts ?

ok sorry all, i've done it. rtfm comes to mind! on page 4-19 of the Nissan Connect Owners manual it explains what you need to do. The folders on the usb should be as follows:

x: = your usb drive letter

x:\myPOIs\myPOIWarnings

place the CSV file under the above folder and all works fine

Thanks to suzukiscottie for putting me on the track, however it wasn;t clear the "myPOIWarnings" folder should be created under the "myPOIs" folder...
