Just logged on to Home and have been offered a new version, 2.8.2.2264. Don't know what's different yet; it's installing. |

It returns the option to refuse a software update. This was causing x40 users problems as most preferred to use 8.371. If they wanted to update anything via Home they had to swallow 9.058!! _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

No it doesn't, I just installed it, full of the joys of spring, and I still can't uncheck the box. How did you manage to do it Mike? |

I was just reporting what others have said. I'm sorry if this is incorrect. None of my devices give me first-hand experience of the x40 problem. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

Ok Mike, understood, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately then, I regret to report that the inability to 'deselect' the Navcore 9.058 update persists in TT Home V2.8.2.2264.
For those x40 owners wishing to stay with Navcore V8.371, you still need to stay with TT Home V2.8.0.2416 or earlier

Thanks Mike, makes interesting reading - from that forum it would seem that some users are having success at deselecting the forced updates.
So all I can say, is that from my personal experience (Go 940 Live, Windows 7 Home Premium (32 Bit), TT Home V2.8.2.2264), I found that you cannot deselect the option to update to Navcore 9.058.
I would echo Andy's post above for those that that wish to remain on an older version of TT Home. By way of amplification, I have changed my 'hacked' version of Home to 10.0.0.0 and this works fine, so will avoid forced updates of TT Home for some time yet.
