One last question.......Can a bluetooth gps receiver connect and supply data to multiple sources ?

Very rarely. In this case no though. It can be 'paired' with multiple devices but can only serve data to one at a time.

Thanks Darren and everyone else who contributed.

Everything is now connected and working perfectly.

To be honest, it's also much neater and more compact than using a plug in USB GPS receiver, just got to remember to keep the thing charged !

Strange that I didn't need to input any bluetooth passkey to connect to the receiver...... but it works so I'm not complaining !

The status on the back of the camera still says 'connecting' rather than 'connected' but everything is working fine and the GPS data is being written to the exif of the jpg files - coordinates, altitude and UTC date and time.

To help anyone else who wants to use this set up, I'm using the Kensington Bluetooth v2.1 USB Micro Adapter (Part Number K33902US) and a Globalsat BT-368 Bluetooth Receiver.

Thanks again,

John
