Teasing us with new version number

Hi Telmap people,

Imagine my excitement (I appreciate I need to get out more) when checking the download page this morning to find a new version number - V5.25.37 - for the Blackberry Torch. That was then dashed when going to download it and receiving 5.25.16.02

I even tried installing it in case it was just reporting wrongly - but it was indeed .16

Please don't tease us like this! Is there a new version going up?

Hi Dave,
As they say... I have some good news and some bad news regarding your post.

The good news is - there is indeed a new version available for BB 9800. It was just my oversight to update the web site - but forget to upload the new version.

I do apologize for that. Embarassed

And the bad news is that it is indeed a new version - but it does not present any significant new functionality - that's why I didn't make any announcement about it.

It primarily includes internal bug fixes.
Feel free to check out our Release Notes

Anyway - it is up there now so feel free to download if you like.

Ah but I disagree.

The 'Use external speakers' tickbox is back - and that's one of the main things that I've been waiting for. I prefer to use the speaker on the phone for directions and camera alerts, so as not to have the car radio cut out for every announcement.

So in summary we're all good. New version is now downloadable, and contains something I was waiting for :-)
