Satmap scrolling maps

Hi all.
Thanks for having me. Like to pose a question. When i'm toggling through my Full GB map at 1:25,816 the map moves very slow for 10secs then speeds up. Is this normal or can i do something to move it quicker.
Also is it possible to connect my satmap to mem-map version 4 on my pc?
Hope this makes sense to someone out there.

Think the slow start to scrolling is down to the surrounding map area loading into memory - sure someone better informed will correct if I'm mistaken.

Not aware of any way to hook an Active10 to MM. Is certainly possible to plot routes in MM, save them to GPX and import to A10 with SatSync.
