Garmin 765: Liked Magellan better

I looked at a lot of customer reviews before buying a Garmin Nuvi 765. My Magellan finally died. The Garmin is not as easy to use as the Magellan. There is no option for 'least use of freeways'. Finding a route on surface streets is difficult. You have to get off the freeway and wait for it to figure out you don't want to get back on. Saving locations takes more clicks /touches and routing around traffic is very inconsistent. The main thing I bought this unit for was being able to detect or know about traffic jams and it doesn't. It'll take you right into stopped traffic. Finding points of interest is also inconsistent. It can't find a lot of basic stores/parks. Once it took me clear across town for a 'west' entrance to a park that I was a mile away from the 'east' entrance - without even displaying an east/west entrance option to nav to. I cannot recommend the Garmin 765. For this price, it should be a lot easier to use. Get a Magellan.
