Ok so sorry start a thread for this, I was sure I saw someone ask this a week or two ago (did a search but didn't find it). I marked a speed camera van a few weeks back, but when I pasted it today it doesn't show anything on my map. Am I doing something wrong?

It you mean to the TT Live Speed Camera Database, the live mobile speed camera reports last for 3 hours - because they move on then (and it is a "live" service")

Yes.... Bothering to try to improve the hopelessly inaccurate TT-supplied datadase.

Ditch it and get a better one.

Cheers all, I may well do that. I just wondered how to, as no matter how may times I drive down this stretch of motorway I always forget that there tend to be a camera van parked up so I just thought it would be easier to mark it for next time. Was under the impression that it would just add it to my map?

You can add a POI there for continual notification (just set it to warn when near in the options) - the live mobile camera function is for just that - warning other drivers that there is "currently" a mobile camera at the location.... how well that works depends on level of user input and tomtom updates over the air

Which is incidentally how the PGPSW camera warnings work, Dave.

Just for info Dave... I've I don't think I've EVER had one of TT's own mobile warning go off, and I often have to drive around with the TomTom warnings switched on for testing purposes.
