How to load UK & Europe Alerts at same time on a Nuvi 14

I have seen several references to 'loading all POI files at the same time' but cannot seem to acheive this. POILoader for the Garmin only seems to accept one file at a time, and always overwrites the previously uploaded POI file. Should I be merging the UK and Europe databases into one file and uploading that? Problems would arise when I need miles in the UK and kilometers in France and Spain.

Should I have one database on the device and another on a MicroSD card?

I have waded through all sorts of hints and tips and FAQs but have not found anything that covers this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for such a swift and helpful response. I have now uploaded the two files by renaming them as I went along. It is a pity that POILoader doesn't give you that option, it would save a lot of bother.
